Help Bara and his family survive in North Gaza
Italy
Hi everyone, I’m Francesca, 33, from Italy. I’m opening this campaign on behalf of my dear friend, Bara. Over the past months I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know him well, and I felt compelled to support him as much as I could during this period of great despair.
My aim is to help him provide for his family’s daily necessities until it will be possible to leave.
Bara is 24, lives in north Gaza with his big family, he has many siblings and more than 20 nephews and nieces who love him deeply.
He had a bright future ahead and big dreams to achieve. With commitment and great work he managed to reach his ambition of becoming a high school teacher, loved and cherished by his students.
After the start of the genocide he went through so much, the dreams he worked so hard to achieve had been shattered and he had to face the brutal reality of displacement, starvation and constant fear.
Just to give you an idea of how much your help is important, you can see some of the prices in the image below (keep in mind they change a lot depending on availability):
Bara is a very kindhearted and loving person, in these terrible times he has found relief in writing poems. Here’s a poem he wrote for all of his future’s donors
O kind-hearted souls, in you I trust, In times of hunger, in times of dust. The price of life has risen high, But still, I reach out—don’t pass me by.
Five dollars, just five, is all I need, To buy some bread, to plant the seed. With food to eat, and drink to share, We’ll stand together, fight despair.
A little help, a simple way, To turn my night into a brighter day. Your gift could change my world, it’s true, To help me rise, to start anew.
Together we can, together we will, Lift each other, climb this hill. So reach out now, don’t hesitate, And we’ll survive this heavy weight.
What I ask you is to ease the pain of uncertainty by donating what you can, even the smallest donation is of great comfort for Bara and his family.
If you’ve read until this point, I really want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the time you spent for us, please consider donating and sharing the campaign as much as you can.

Dear , Here’s a messagw from Bara to all of you:
“The situation is bad here. There were bombings during the night, and the sounds were constant and terrifying. People are extremely frightened, and many families have been forced to flee their homes. No one feels safe anymore it’s a very tense and uncertain time. We just pray for safety and an end to all this. Today, we’re moving completely to the south with all our belongings. We’ve found an apartment that’s 190 square meters it really feels like the right space for us. The rent is 1.5K, and I could really use your support to help cover the cost. Being together in one place will make a huge difference for our safety and stability”
Bara needs to gather this money to pay the rent as quickly as possible, we can do it with your help. Thank you so much for support and kindness.
